Welcome to Land Navigation Level II
This class is designed to build on the skills learned in Level I, so you must have taken that class first, or have permission from our lead instructor. In this class, we will cover the Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM), a coordinate system used by the military to pin point any location on Earth. You will be given a map, and all the UTM coordinates for the course, then it will be up to you and your partner to complete the course. This course will test your ability to navigate through unfamiliar terrain and apply the skills you have learned. By the end of this course, you will have a deeper understanding of what it takes to navigate anywhere on Earth.
